Give Us Your Confession & No One Gets Hurt {1}
The Bronx IV has leaked and not surprisingly, it’s fucking incredible – it’s everything that a rippin’ punk rock record should be and more. In my eyes, this band is one of the very best going and literally can do no wrong. Their music is constantly evolving, incorporating new sounds and yet they consistently sound like The Bronx – except perhaps when they are playing as Mariachi El Bronx, but even then…

I just got a copy a couple of days ago and it’s been on repeat ever since – thus far my favorite ram-jammers are;

The record isn’t out until February but it is available for pre-order here so as much as I’ve downloaded the leak for now (sorry boys), I encourage you all to support this band and buy it when it comes out and go support them when they play your town.

MOTO {0}
The Brothers’ McCracken just released a new Moto Print which would make a great addition to any art or bike nerd’s collection…

Especially if you were lucky enough to have snagged one of the (now sold out) Velo prints over the last couple of years.

Also don’t miss out on the Town Moto Vintage Playing Card print.

Isle Of Man {0}
I’m planning on going to Ireland this summer and if we can time it just right, we’ll hop over to the Isle Of Man for the 2013 TT. Fingers crossed!
Also, for those of you that haven’t seen it – TT3D: Closer To The Edge is well worth the watch.
Thanks for sharing, Thomas.

Walter & The #1 Good Boys {0}

This winter Walter got set up with a fancy pants Filson Reversible Dog Coat to match his bowl & collar – he’s very brand loyal. He doesn’t reeeeeeally need a coat, the Husky in him makes him love the winter, but we figured in the rain and on the very worst days it couldn’t hurt to have it.
Pretty much everyone we know that has a dog has this coat so we figured, rather than letting all the other dogs make fun of ours for all having the same coat, we could patch them all out and make them bad-ass gang jackets so if you’re at Bellwoods and you see The #1 Good Boys walking down the hill snapping in matching patch-jackets, you best get to steppin’!

Moosonee Puppy Rescue – This Saturday {1}
I am a huge proponent of getting a rescue dog over going and paying huge amounts of money at a breeder while beautiful, loving, pups are spending their days in cages wondering if they’ll ever have another home. In general, I really think it’s great to pull a dog from the pound but a lot of people would prefer a puppy, and I get that, so here’s your chance!

The good people that come in from day to day and bring the #1 Good Boy out to Cherry Beach while we’re at work are Unleashed In The City and this Saturday they’re having an adoption day in conjuntion with the Moosonee Puppy Rescue and they’ll have 15 beautiful little pups up for adoption.
Despite being a ton of work; adopting Walter has been one of the most rewarding endeavors I’ve ever undertaken and I seriously recommend it for any one who has the type of lifestyle that would accomodate a little buddy and has some love to give – it’s really all they need.

6th Annual Parkdale Festivus – TONIGHT! {0}
Every year my better (read: much better) half, Yvonne & some of her friends, throw a charity event in Pakdale called Festivus to raise money for Interval House – a Toronto Shelter that provides emergency services for abused women and children.
Last year they raised around $4,000.00 to purchase goods that go directly into the hands of people who genuinely need a little extra support.
Come have drinks, dance & have a killer time while supporting a truly great cause.
There will be raffle prizes donated by the great people at:
• Parts and Labour
• Happy Socks
• The Yukon
• Bikes on Wheels
